Our Purpose
Nobody walks alone
The Neighborhood Mailbox project is a collection of letters written by strangers, for strangers.
We are built on a simple belief: that the world is one neighborhood, and that somewhere within it, someone has already lived through what you are facing right now.
These letters cross oceans, cultures, and every line that usually divides us, because when it comes to the experience of being human, we are all neighbors. And neighbors do not let each other face the hard things alone.
If you need more than
a letter right now
These letters are written with care, but some moments call for more. If you are in crisis or need immediate support, please reach out to appropriate resources or local emergency helplines without delay.
